Very cool!
Haha, i really liked that. Very, like...funky man. Great animation and style, nice graphics and stuff, and put together nicely.
But seriously, that music was the best choice, it fit it so good!

Funky? Probably the use of orange which created that impression. The style was something new... I haven't used the brush tool for yonks - I'm glad you liked it!
The music's pretty...what's the word...intense? I chose the music and put all the movement to it, explaining why it all melded well ^^
Thanks for the review!
Haha, nice work!
Very good short. Great animation, graphics, sound, and humour.
You pulled it off nicely.
Keep them coming!
Thanks for the review. I will be sure to make more random shorts, just you wait and see.
Fuck Yeah!
That was awesome. Your style was wicked, great graphics, smooth animation. Oi and those explosions and splatter effects were very nice!
I noticed a couple of parts in there that looked familiar from magazines and tutorials on the web like the robot one, and they look pretty good aswell.
Pretty cool animation reel you have here.
Thanks, the robot was originally animated for a collab that died.
What the guy before me said...
This was extremely cool. Loved it man, your are an excellent animator and its brilliant how you animated the main character in a trenchcoat, that must have been a challenge.
Graphics were rough but still well done and the fight scene was also very well animated and pretty cool. But yeah one thing that stood out was your use of a range of camera shot, angles and movement. Thats what brings an animation or movie to life and makes it a lot more engaging and interesting to the audience.
Haha, now I know you submitted this a while ago, and its kind of random how i stumbled onto this submission. Basically I looked at your site you hosted on ustudios.net. Pretty cool webhosting ey. I have my own flash site on there aswell.
Anyway you have a cool style with your animations and I look foward to your next productions.

Kudos! Yeah it's a great hosting for sure. Glad you liked the animation, i'm gonna go check your site out now ^^.
I got the message.
But i was probably the wrong guy to ask to review a sprite movie.
I dont like sprite movies, never have, never will.
But if i was to put aside the graphics..I would still say i didnt really like it. It was boring, slow paced, and the voices and subtitles were a bit awkward at times.
The story line is okay...not that interesting but at least its different from all those fight sprite movies, even though it still did have some fights in there.
But while iw as watching this i thought how much better this could be if it werent sprites. If you had actually drawn Mario and Toad and the backgrounds yourself, it would have looked and felt so much better. I know, sprites are your style, but for fucks sake...do some real animation.
Now dont get all pissed off at me, its my opinion. Get over it.
....
First of all, I dont get pissed off at you ;)
And I dont think I asked the wrong guy to review a sprite movie. Maybe you hate sprite movies, but your review still helped me.
For the second.. Sprites are not my only style. I also make normal animation (FbF) but I havenĀ“t submit something yet.
Thanks for your review :D
Incredible...
Man that was insane.
Crazy animation, sweet ass graphics, heaps of volience, angles and zooms, lengthy pico....everything a newgrounds flash needs.
Nice fucking work!
Deserves a huge score.
thanx man, i am really glad you think that way... thanks.
Nice.
Good message. Nicely delivered.
The graphics were a bit off puting at first, the bodies were very dull...although that does play to your advantage by focusing the attention of viewers more on the characters facial expressions and what theyre saying, i dont know if that was your intent, but i guess its a good idea.
The style of this movie was well executed. Because the majority of this movie is dialogue, the quick zooms and cuts were done well enough and the dialogue wasnt boring.
Good quality voices....volient threat....good humour.
I liked it.
You know what, the whole body thing wasn't intentional (I seem to be the only bloke who likes the look of them) but I reckon you're right.
Yeah, too, it's all just dialogue. But I don't think that's a bad thing - it's a bit of a stretch sometimes because it puts more pressure on you to write well, but you have to deal with it, right?
Besides, how can you go wrong with violent threats?
Haha, well...
Im gonna chuck this out there and say it was pretty good.
Pretty funny man, and i like how you recorded the music...even though i think it would have been better if it was faster paced music of the space invaders theme, which would have given it that more exciting and suspenseful mood.
Taking note that the graphics were meant to be pixelated, the graphics of those two guys was a bit...messed up. but not too bad.
Another thing that i liked about this was the style. You didnt use the one boring camera angle...zooming in and also the 3d angle gave it more life and made it more interesting.
Visually it was anything "holy fucking shit this is awesome" but i still liked it. Pretty funny.
Did i over analyse that too much? I thought it was good...different.
Nice work. deserves to be saved.
Thanks, and no, you didn't overanalyze it too much, analysis is the best thing you can do to an animation. I'm glad you liked the 3D angles and such, I was pleased with how they turned out.
Thanks for supportage!
Oh man...
...that was fucking wicked! well done my good man.
But i reckon you could have added just one last camera angle...from the distance, side on, with the missile right on the top of the .swf's head...in slow mo...camera shaking....with dust and shit going everywhere, sorta dbz style haha.
Nah its ok, what youve done is already sick as.
Good work.
I knew I recognized that alias. Your Audio Portal flash kicked some serious ass, and congrats on the recent frontpage and daily second!
It was a tough decision I had to make at the very end - to explode?, or not to explode. It seems fairly obvious at first, but after careful consideration, I felt that it'd be more effective to let the viewer's mind create the huge 'boom' and lightshow.
And yeah, the last thing I want to do is to animate a ridiculous DBZ inferno :P
Cheers, man.
My fellow 17 year old aussie animator....
...this was very nicely done man. Fucking good work.
Keep it up...
Why thank you...
and as long as we're in the same country, come over to my house and we'll play wii
